Founder of Mixx Entertainment Studios and Five-time Grammy Award DJ Mix Master Miguel has always had his sight set on becoming a superior fixture behind the hottest DJ booths. He cultivated his love for music by spinning at local events and parties before moving on to showcase his skills in popular nightlife venues nationwide.

In 2012, Miguel had the honor of performing at the 54th Annual Grammy After party at Rolling Stone Los Angeles. Word would eventually spread about the rising DJ leading to one of his most memorable DJ sets; performing for the Pre-Halftime show during Super Bowl 50. In addition to becoming a popular fixture at the Annual Grammy events, Mix Master Miguel has continued to make a name for himself spinning the best tunes from his catalogue at corporate functions, celebrity soirees and other high profile events.

Some of his first musical influences include the likes of Carlos Santana, Sheila E., Selena, Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire, Usher, Justin Timberlake, and the list can go on and on. His playlist stems from a variety of all genres, mostly Hip Hop, Top 40, and Dance; but can quickly adapt to please any crowd. A dedicated student of the DJ art form, one of Mix Master Miguel’s most notable mixes is a touching ode to the legendary Michael Jackson. His Michael Jackson Forever Mix features the late singer’s greatest hits and highlights Miguel’s skills as a prolific turntablist and live performer.

The seasoned Mixmaster has quickly proven himself among industry colleagues and music lovers alike. Dubbed, ‘King of Mixx’, Miguel is known for his energetic performances, banging club mixes and ability to excite the crowd. His style has drawn similar comparison to the likes of DJ Jazzy Jeff, and the late DJ AM.

During his career Mix Master Miguel has kept the party jumping playing for an array of notable celebrities and venues including Usher, Katy Perry, Jada Pinkett Smith, E-40, Fatman Scoop, Digital Underground, Bacardi, Apple, Facebook, Blackhawk Auto Museum, W Hotel Hollywood, Geisha House, NEO Nightclub, Aura Nightclub, and many others.

He’s also no stranger to radio with stints at Wild 94.9 and Hot 97.7 Jamz on Sirius Satellite Radio. The ‘King of Mixx’ is well positioned and continuing his quest to becoming one of the industry’s most sought after celebrity DJs. In addition to serving up fresh mixes, Miguel is currently the music director / “Ace” DJ for a local fast growing entertainment agency in northern California and has several upcoming productions in the works.
